Hi. 

My name is Kippy. I am an artist and maker with a love for process and a dedication to various mediums, including but not limited to drawing, acrylic mixed mediums, collage, printmaking, photography and fiber arts.  

When I am not in my studio, I am exploring nature, adventuring with my two girls, growing in my garden, mixing and concocting in my kitchen, dreaming of places I've been and where I want to go, belly laughing and plotting with my sisters and enjoying time with my many animals. I am very diverse in my interests and often swamped - but I like it that way. In all the chaos, I try to find time to stop, connect, and take it all in. I am constantly learning and growing with my resources and the surroundings I am grateful to be part of. 

I created Kippyfitzstudio as a space to share inspiration through art, design, and creative living; to amplify bliss and excitement while influencing a passion for creativity and curiosity. Observing others' processes can be enough to learn about and connect to your own. It is no secret that inspiration is everywhere and serves us all in different ways. It's up to us personally and individually to harness that inspiration, commit to it, learn from it, grow from it, and build off it.  

Because life can be tough to balance, especially as a working mom and a multi-passionate human, I use my creative practice to help navigate me through overwhelming times and moments when I get lost in my daydreams. My creative flow in and out of my studio grounds me. 

After years of not recognizing how important my creative process was for my own well-being, I decided to set my intentions and prioritize the creativity within me to be the driving force in my life and to give myself permission to evolve through my successes and failures all the same. I have chosen to live freely in the moment and acknowledge what serves me (and what doesn't) while thriving to listen and watch for the inspiration that guides and supports me in my everyday...
